Abstract

The protocol of the Prelog trading town is kept at the State Archive in Medjimurje at Štrigova in the collection of the Prelog trading town administration. This includes three books for the period from 1792 to 1849, with two subsequent entries for the years 1744 and 1791. The record is written in the Latin script and the Croatian Kajkavian dialect. The contracts often contain the Latin phrase nemine contradicente, with an additional note that the lands are sold voluntarily. Also, there is also the phrase iure perpetuo, et irrevocabili. The record also contains Germanisms.
