Abstract
In the paper some structural-functional changes in the production system, emerged after the introduction of microelectrical components, are discussed stressing the changes in technical and social subsystem. Various experiences of the introduction of the, so called, new technology from the technologically developed countries are listed. Furthermore, they point out to different organizational conditions in the implementation of the new technology. A positive or negative influence of the new technology on the socio-psychological variables in the social subsystem depends on the way of management (from authoritative to democratic).
In the second part of the article the author discusses a trend towards a flexible form of the organization of the social subsystem and the model of the informational system used for the needs of management.
