Knowledge Management in University: Preparedness of Master of Information Sciences Graduates from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek for the Labor Market

Abstract
Knowledge management can help universities to achieve their goals more effectively. Knowledge transfer is a very important part of the knowledge management process in higher education. Starting from this fact, the purpose of this study was to assess master of information sciences graduates’ preparedness for the labor market in the context of knowledge transfer activities. The sample included master of information sciences graduates from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. According to the results, respondents were moderately satisfied with the knowledge and skills gained during the study, which implies that they were not fully prepared for the labor market. The findings also indicate that their level of satisfaction was not significantly influenced by sociodemographic characteristics. The study suggests that it is necessary to improve knowledge transfer processes within the institution.
