Abstract

Pathogen Plasmopara viticola is always a potential threat for wine grape and because of that chemical protection should be carried out every year. Because of the appearance of resistance and new species of the mentioned fungus, new fungicides are introduced in the world every year – such one is also Sphinx Extra WDG fungicide. In the years of 2006 and 2007 we performed the efficiency research of that fungicide for the protection of wine grape from the attack of pathogen P.viticole. According to the experiments carried out in 2006, that fungicide showed the greatest efficiency index when used in the concentration 0.2% - in the protection of leaves it was 96.03%, and in the protection of grapes it was 97.99%. In the experiments in 2007, the efficiency index in the protection of leaves was 94.91%, and in the protection of grapes 95.34%.
