Cut flowers are mostly cultivated in protected areas: carnations, roses and Transvaal daisies. The production is taking place in greenhouses or polythene greenhouses. For the optimal growth of these plants, it is necessary to ensure several conditions which raise the costs of production because they need special equipment.
