Abstract

Knowledge of basic nutritionist needs of plants is the basis of the adequate fertilization of flowers and horticultural plants. Unlike the rest of the agricultural plants (field or woody crops), flowers and horticultural plants have a few special qualities:
special climatic conditions of cultivation (closed housing space, housing terraces, cultivation in very urban environment)
relevantly limited soil conditions (growing in pots, cultivation on areas of very limited conditions – vegetable plots, public areas and alike)
In those specific conditions, except for basic knowledge of plant cultivation, it is necessary to know the specific qualities of each sort of plant as well.
