Abstract
In order to use glass or polythene greenhouses and forcing-beds successfully throughout a year, it is neccessary to warm them in winter and cool them in summer in Croatian climate conditions. By warming the soil a plant can grow well even if the air is colder, because the root system has not grown cold. By cooling the air by evaporating water we give a useful protection to the plants, and make their growing throughout the summer heats successful.
