Abstract
The inspiration for the conceptual design in this paper came from the studying of the Bauhaus artists – ideology and work style. The technique used in creating conceptual design was a collage as a model for the lamp shade. The technological realization of the conceptual design, the method of textile printing on domestic woven fabric from flax and hemp was applied. Technological processes and methods resulted in special effects on the textile fabric from flax and hemp, woven on antique loom a hundred years ago. Since the plain woven fabric is composed of two different stem fibers, two different shades of white were achieved by bleaching, which contributes to the more effective appearance of the fabric. Treated fabric was fixed to the metal support of white wooden cabinet which is a body of the lamp, and woven fabric shade, playing simple lines, creates a whole: "Cabinet-lamp with textile shade" that can be applied to any interior.
