Gray mould on tomato

Abstract

Gray mold is economically important disease on the tomatoes. The disease is caused by anaggressive pathogenic fungus Botrytis cinerea. Fungus in fects the flowers, fruits, leaves and stems of tomato. On the stems, leaves and flowers appear necrosis, but on the fruits appear spots and rot. The disease can cause severe losses particulary in the green houses. In the our country permission to control of gray mold on tomatoes have fungicides (botritcides):pyrimethanil (Pyrus 400 SC), fenhexamid (Teldor SC 500), iprodione (Driza WG and Sabuesco) and combined formulation of fungicides as fludioxonil+cyprodinil (Switch 62.5 WG) and pyraclostrobin and boscalid (Signum).
