Abstract
The olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae Gmel.) is a technological pest of olives. The pest is present in all areas of olive cultivation in Croatia, but its harmfulness depends on climatic condition.
Olive fruit fly develops several generations per year. Monitoring of olive fruit fly is carried out by visual and olfactory attractants.
Suppression of olive fruit fly is implemented by biotechnical protection measures.
