Abstract
Model of the precipitation in homogeneous solutions from which the precipitate emerges, as well as the factors influencing the solid/liquid equilibrium, were discussed. The most important methods and techniques for the determination of the precipitation limits, precipitation regions, phase transitions, particle sizes, and their inner and outer structures (light scattering, small angle X-ray scattering, and microscopy) were described. Several examples of precipitation diagrams of the equilibrated systems, including inorganic and organic substances, were represented.
