Burns in children

Abstract
A hundred and ninety-five cases of bums in children during a five year period are reviewed. Current methods of managemennt and choices of treatment are discussed. Sixty-three children were hospitalized, and 132 of them were outpatients. Fifteen children were operated upon, with deep dermal bumspartial thickness skin grafts, and 10 children were transported to a specialised center, after an initial treatment. There was no letality in this series of children treated in our department.
