Abstract

Kazali was quite attached to the literary and linguistic tradition of Dubrovnik.
During a certain period of time his knowledge of Croatian language has been gradually
irnproving. An increase of folklore elements over those pertaining to Dubrovnik make
his late works easy to read but hi s linguistic improvement has not been accompanied
by the growth of his poetic power. In his writings morfonological attitude prevails and
his ortography is not consequent within the same book.
