The oil factory in Čepin is certainly one of the most significant economic entities in the area of eastern Croatia. The factory was started by the prominent businessman Ferdinand Speiser in the wilderness of Bar in Čepin. The oil mill founded in the midst of World War II was affected by war and postwar processes.
