Abstract

Umbilical cord uterotonics (oxytocin, prostaglandin F2alpha, ergometrin) injection for retained placenta treatment is effective, simple, pharmacological and nonsurgical procedure to reduce the need of manual removal of placenta and general anesthesia, a potentially morbid procedures.
