Abstract

Since the declaration of the global pandemic of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in March 2020 healthcare system has faced many challenges. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) as healthcare professionals had to adapt to new work settings and also had to find a place within a multidisciplinary team that takes care of patients with COVID-19. This work aims to define and describe speech-language pathologists' role in the management and rehabilitation of patients with COVID-19.
