Abstract

The paper presents the elevator design with a counterweight and with a counterweight and a spacer. An overview of the basic components of the elevator is given, as well as their principle of operation and their role in lifting people and/or loads. The calculation of the basic components of the elevator was performed for the following input values: electric drive, load capacity of the cabin - 750 kg (10 persons), lifting height: - 15 m, number of stations: - 6, travel speed - 1 m/s. The calculations of the drive mechanism, wire ropes, guide rails, supporting frame of the cabin, supporting frame of the counterweight and elevator shaft were carried out.
