Differences in safety indices for various calculation resistance models of composite beams

Abstract
A short survey of the original modified calculation procedure of the safety index in composite beams is presented. This paper also deals with the differences in safety indices of composite beams using various calculation resistance models according to Eurocode. Simpler calculation models are quite suitable in practical applications. They result in the highest values of the safety index b which has to be corrected to reflect the real behaviour of composite beams. The calculation models presented in this paper are described with 3 to more than 70 limit state equations.
