Abstract

Family farms play an important role in agricultural production and rural development. The aim of the research is to identify the factors influencing the formation of entrepreneurial strategies of family farms in Osijek-Baranja County. The study involved 60 respondents. Chi-square test, regression analysis, and correlation analysis were used to test the hypotheses. The research results indicate that market orientation, professional development, and innovation and technological development are key factors influencing the business and sustainable development of family farms. Further research and implementation of these strategies, along with the engagement of all relevant stakeholders, can contribute to strengthening competitiveness, increasing income, and ensuring the sustainability of rural areas in the county.
