Abstract

The photon spectrum from the decay of 182Ta was measured with a 14 cm3 Ge(Li) detector of a resolution of 3.5 keV at the 60Co energies. Using the relative intensities of gamma-ray lines determined from the spectrum, and the published data on the internal conversion spectrum, the total transition intensities were computed and the balance of intensities in the decay scheme was made. A discussion of the present knowledge of the decay scheme of 182W is given.
