Abstract

Aspiration pneumonia in foals is a serious condition that occurs due to the inhalation of liquid, milk, food, or foreign particles into the lungs. This condition often presents a problem in foals that have difficulties with feeding or swallowing. This brief case report describes the macroscopic and histological characteristics of aspiration pneumonia in a foal.
