New species and nomenclatural changes in the checklist of the Croatian flora – 8

Abstract
In the Journal of the Croatian Botanical Society seven contributions were published that serve as an update of the national flora checklist and the Flora Croatica Database – FCD with new entries of a newly described plant taxa and new discovered taxa in the flora. Besides that, nomenclatural changes were applied as well on already existing plant taxa. This is the eight contribution with ten new plant taxa (Allium dinaricum Bogdanović, Anačkov, Ćato, Borovečki-Voska, Salmeri et Brullo, Carex distachya Desf. subsp. phyllostachioidea (Ö.Nilsson) Jac.Koopman, Więcław, Bogdanović et T.Denchev, Cenchrus longisetus M.C.Johnst., Cenchrus spinifex Cav., Cochlearia danica L., Lepidium oblongum Small, Micromeria silicii Bogdanović, Ljubičić, L. Sáez et Brullo, Prangos trifida (Mill.) Herrnst. et Heyn, Sporobolus indicus (L.) R.Br. and Stachys ocymastrum (L.) Briq.) added to the FCD, as their first record in Croatia. In addition, one nomenclatural change related to the species Allium tenuiflorum Ten. was made, and three taxa (A. paniculatum L. subsp. fuscum Waldst. et Kit., A. paniculatum L. subsp. villosulum (Halácsy) Stearn. and A. paniculatum L. subsp. paniculatum) were excluded from the checklist of the Croatian flora.
