EARRINGS WITH THREE STRAWBERRIES FROM AN EARLY-CROATIAN GRAVEYARD STRANČE-GORICA

Abstract
The author looks back on a jewellery group: earrings from an early-Croatian graveyard Starče-Gorica and especially apostrophises a similar earring with three strawberries of which the middle strawberry has an oval shape and is vertically positioned. This shape of the earring is rarely seen in cultural grave inventory of Early-Croatian gravesites. However, in the Early-Croatian graveyard Gorica in Vinodol eight samples of these earrings were found. Taking into account this fact the author hypothesises that the workshop in which the earrings were made could have been in the Vinodol area.
