Abstract

Phenomenology in Croatia never existed as a separate school, with its own department, society, or journal bearing that name. Instead, it appeared within other disciplines: political philosophy, theology, medicine, and ecology. Its representatives operated individually, across different decades and institutions, but they kept returning to the same questions about experience, consciousness, and authenticity. This infiltration into other disciplines, more than a shared doctrine, characterizes its history here.
