Abstract

Modern injection moulding of polymer parts requires high degree of automatization, from preparation of material for processing to packing and transport. Mould for injection moulding is the central part of injection moulding system, so these requirements applie to it as well. Above all they apply to automatic separation of runner system from mouldings and to automatic demoulding without the need of additional operations. The paper describes the design process of mould for injection moulding of thermoplastic part with internal thread.
