Hum – Journal of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Mostar is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Mostar. It publishes papers in the fields of humanities and social sciences, with a particular emphasis on the scientific study of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its regional and European context. The central focus of the journal consists of research into language, literature, culture, society, history, and identity, as well as analyses of social processes and ideas essential for understanding Bosnian-Herzegovinian society within its broader humanistic and social connections. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches, while its baseline remains a clear humanistic and social orientation. Hum especially values papers that explore how local and regional phenomena illuminate universal questions of language, culture, and society, as well as those that contribute to the understanding of Bosnia and Herzegovina's position within Southeastern Europe and the world. The journal is published twice a year.
