The Krčki zbornik (Krk Almanac) - as the annual journal of the Krk Historical Society - publishes original research and professional papers from the fields of history, archaeology, architecture, bibliography, biography, demography, epigraphy, ethnography, ethnology, philology, folklore, geography, humanities, emigration studies, linguistics, cartography, climatology, literature, croatology, culture, cultural anthropology, fine arts, music, traditional life and customs, numismatics, palaeography, art history, economy, religious studies, sociology, education, tourism, health care, etc. The editorial concept of Krčki zbornik is set such that every part of the island of Krk should be represented in each volume of the journal by a particular topic. Also, a part of every volume is open to the publication of diverse researches of the wider, Kvarner, Northern Adriatic and Mediterranean area, recent poetic and shorter literary works, as well as to various annual activity reports of, for example, galleries, museums, culture centres, cultural and art, educational and sports associations active on the island of Krk. The papers in this journal can be classified as original scientific papers, review articles and professional papers, as well as preliminary or short communication, conference papers, edited archival material, bibliographies, book reviews, reminiscences and notes, essays, editorials, obituaries, various reports, etc. Each paper undergoes the required editorial and peer reviewing procedure. Authors will not be financially charged for publication of their papers in the Krčki zbornik (Krk Almanac).

The Editorial board of this journal wholeheartedly supports and respects the principle according to which every research that is freely available to the public enables greater global exchange of ideas and knowledge, in accordance with the Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Papers published in the journal are allowed to be archived in the institutional and thematic repositories, with mandatory placement of links to the journal's web-site, as well as to the Portal of Croatian scientific and professional journals – HRČAK.
