Sažetak
Motor abilities provide a strong, fast, long, accurate and/or coordinated performance of various motor tasks. Motor abilities are divided into quantitative and qualitative. Strength is the quantitative motor ability, defined as the ability to overcome resistance. The resistance can be a partner resistance, various natural resistances (water, sand, snow, wind), weights, different aids (elastic rubber, medical balls), their own body weight. The strength can be effectively influenced at any age. Frequently the question is: When is reasonable and useful to start with strength training? Most children spontaneously train the strength through everyday activities and play. Children love to climb, wrestle, add various balls, push or carry heavy objects, play in the water and sand. Previous researches has shown that strength training for children has a positive effect on growth and development, it develop other motor skills and has a positive impact on mental health of the child.
