Latent structure pf some tests for assessment of explosive strength factors

Sažetak
The investigation was carried put on a sample of 156 subjects with the aim to establish the latent structure of the battery of 9 measuring instruments for assessment of esxplosive strength factors by means of application of factor procedures.
It is possible to formulate the following conclusions on the basis of the obtained results:
- all manifest variables have optimum values of central and dispersive parametres;
- the correlation matrix was has high pregnancy;
- within the intercorrelation matrix two provisional groups of variables are identified in agreement with the hypothetical latent dimensions;
- the system of 9 manifestations of explosive strength is reduced to the system of two latent dimensins;
- the first orthoblique factor defined by the variables of shot-put in various manners is named as the factor of explosive strength of the absolute type;
- the second orthoblique dimension predominantly determined by tests of jumping ability is nominated as the factor of explosive strength of the relative type.
