CFCS – SPECIAL ISSUE 2025 – SCHOOL VIOLENCE - CALL FOR PAPERS
School violence is a growing problem in contemporary society, which has far-reaching consequences for children. School violence results by the violation of numerous children's rights guaranteed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - first of all, it is against the provision on the prohibition of all forms of violence. However, this topic opens up many other (interdisciplinary) issues, such as responsibility for protecting children from violence, the role of schools and their employees, preventive approach, (psychosocial) consequences of school violence in relation to children, sanctioning of perpetrators, and violence in the digital environment.
Therefore, we invite all those interested who deal with these topics from various fields to contribute to the (interdisciplinary) discussion about school violence with their contribution in a special issue of the journal Child and Family in Contemporary Society.
We would also like to point out that the journal Child and Family in Contemporary Society is indexed in HeinOnline.
