Focus and Scope

Croatian Political Science Review is an academic journal of political science and related disciplines, published since 1964 by the Faculty of Political Science of Zagreb University.It publishes peer reviewed academic and professional articles from the field of political science and political studies in general, and from all sub-disciplines of political science: political theory, international relations, comparative politics, Croatian politics, public policy, regional studies, political communication, defence and security studies, as well as articles belonging to fields that cannot be uniquely classified by their affiliation to a single discipline but are on the „border“ between two or more disciplines: political history, economic policy, political philosophy, political sociology, political psychology, media and cultural studies, and the like.

 

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous international, double-blind peer review in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are  concealed from both parties.

Please,  read and follow the Author Guidelines, before submitting a manuscript to the journal.

 

Publication Frequency and Language

The journal is published quarterly, both in print and online.   The journal publishes issues both in Croatian and English language.

 

Open Access Policy

The Croatian Political Science Review is an open access journal and all content is available without charge to the user. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

 

Editorial policy

The Croatian Political Science Review is an independent journal lead by the editorial team and whose policies are subject to the approval of its editorial board.  It is not committed to any specific methodological aproach over another and it ageheres to normal standards of scholarship: clear and consistent use of words, logical and mathematical validity, and the use of appropriate evidence to support empirical statements. Contributions are invited in all fields of political science and related fields.  The Editors reserve the right to decline articles if, according to their own judgement, they are inconsistent with editorial policy.
