The International Conference Vallis Aurea has been held since 2008. The first publisher was Polytechnic in Pozega and DAAAM International in Vienna, until October 1st. 2022. Polytechnic in Pozega became part of the University in Osijek and the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development Pozega. We cooperate with new institutions, and in 2022, we had a co-publisher in Ukraine, the Faculty of Economics at Uzghorod National University, and in 2024, we had the University of Maribor, Faculty of Tourism. In 2026, co-publishers include the Cochin University of Science and Technology, the Centre for Budget Studies in India, the Central Asian University, and the Hospitality Management and Tourism School in Uzbekistan.
The five best conference papers will have the opportunity for free publication in extended form in the special issue of the journal Sustainable, Smart and Inclusive Perspectives in Tourism and Hospitality (Q2, indexed in Scopus).
We are pleased to announce that the conference will include a Best Paper Award, with a financial prize for the most outstanding scientific contribution.
