Sažetak
The paper deals with the theoretical and experimental incident field dosimetry for GSM and UMTS base station antennas regarding human exposure to these systems. Calculation and measurement of the field radiated by GSM and UMTS base stations is carried out for the worst case scenario of exposure. Analysing the calculated and measured electric field measures in the vicinity of base stations one concludes that field levels at the areas where humans are expected to live do not exceed referent levels for both general public and occupational exposure proposed by international and national guidelines, respectively.
