Sažetak

The production of necessary green fodder 234 days a year is in the continental parts of Croatia, in areas of family management, covered by introducing continual production. The surplus of produced fodder could be cleared away as ensilage, hay or grains (concentrate). In such a way, combining different fodder cultures in extra winter crops and late post sowing time terms, it is possible to make good use of photosynthesis per unit of surface and produce enough of fodder for 1070 to 1739 rations of protein in production of 15 l milk/day and 1200 to 1618 rations expressed in S. U. (silage unit) i.e. in combinations for production of grain, fodder silage and grains in 994 to 1303 protein rations and 1281 to 1294 energy rations expressed as S.U. The surface under between crops needed to satisfy the need in green fodder, silage and grains for 10 cows, producing 15 l milk containing 4.0% fat is 2.46 hectares whilst 0.83 ha are necessary to settle the need for hay. Total surface indispensable to settle needs in green fodder, hay, silage and grains (concentrate) for 10 cows in 3.29 hectares, with the deficit of 510 kg of maize grains needed to correct energy part of ration but with 1.0 ton overproduction of hay. The charge per hectare is 3.04 cows, producing 15 l milk/day containing 4.0% of milk fat in lactation.
