Sažetak
Putting some special emphasis on PE skills of the candidates at the entry exams at the Teacher Training College of Pula, those who tend to study at the Pre-school Teaching Department and the Primary School Teaching Department, and also in order to provide a better quality differentiation among them, we have created the tests in motorical skills. These are based on the PE curricula, aimed at earlier school aged children, and characterised by the natural forms of motion, i.e. biotic motorical skills, the test in basic basketball game structures and the test including the elements of rhythmic gymnastics, realised on the site with artificial obstacles.
As they have decided to study at the departments stated above, the future pre-school and school teachers are expected to have certain amount of information on motorics available. It is also presumed that these (given) natural forms of motion have been acquired at a proper level. They are important and interesting in the students' PE because these students are supposed to carry out the activities covered by the same or similar biotic-motorical skills in their future teaching in schools and kindergartens.
Apart from providing the initial picture of a candidate, the given structures of motion realised in a quality and satisfactory manner are also a pre-requisite for acquiring even more complex structures. The seven tests, prepared especially with such a purpose (entry exam) and including the evaluation criteria in detail were evaluated by five PE professionals. The obtained results showed that the metric features of these tests are good and, therefore, are to contribute to a more complete differentiation among the entry test candidates.
