Sažetak
The aim of the article is to show the situation on the Croatia bee production market and sales management
of the bee products. Research for the thesis was made on appropriate sample of the visitors of Dani Meda
trade fair. The results shown how product honey is positioned with customers, how often consumers use
honey, with which honey flavours they are familiar with, which honey flavours they buy and where they
buy bee products. Research shows the importance of attributes that influence on consumers buying of bee
products. Data shows that honey is used more often by consumers of older age groups, higher personal
income, and those who live in urban areas. Sales trend in Croatia, similar to that in the region, is that
consumers are becoming more conscious of the benefits from the health improved food.
