Sažetak
In a four year survey we have analysed row spacing of 50 and 45 cm and number of seed units of 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 in sugar beet cultivar KW Maja. The survey was conducted on arable surfaces in Grubišno Polje. Row spacing of 45 cm in relation to row spacing of 50 cm, increased the number of shooted plants for 7957 and the number of plants before digging for 10438 per ha. Root yield was higher for 1790 kg/ha and digestion was 0.28 higher. The lowest number of shooted plants (89778) and plants before digging (84979) was obtained with 1.2 seed units per ha. Increased number of seed units influenced on increase in the number of shooted plants and plants before digging so that the highest number was obtained with 2.0 seed units per ha. Difference between 1.2 and 2.0 seed units per ha was 76931 shooted plants and 3219 plants before digging. The lowest root yield was obtained with 1.4 seed units and was 38302 kg/ha. In relation to 1.4 seed units, 1.2 seed units increased the root yield for 6097 , 2.A seed units for 10275, 1.6 seed units for 10818 and 1 .8 seed units for 12475 kg/ha. The lowest digestion was obtained with 1.4 seed units and was 14.99%. In relation to 1.4 seed units, higher digestion for 0.29% was obtained with 1.2 seed units, tor 0.70% with 1.6 seed units, for 0.87% with 1.8 seed units and for 0.94% with 2.0 seed units.
