Sažetak
The aim of this paper is to point to the changes
that have taken place within the video game
industry over the last few years.
Video games emerged at the time of the Third
Industrial Revolution and developed along with
the development of computer technology. The
ropes of video games are linked to television
screens and console players. In its early
beginnings, video games were found on the
shoulders of social games that were played using
physical objects. At the end of the last century,
the game saw more and more of the forms of
multiplayer social entertainment, and became
a form of "single-person" entertainment. The
beginning of the new millennium will lead to the
eruption of the development of the video game
industry and personal computers will take over
consoles and television screens. The convergence
of digital platforms will enable gaming industry
to emerge on new smartphones, smart phones and
handhelds, which will open the way for eruptive
revenue growth from the "small screens" game.
The video game industry for smartphones and
handhelds, ie the mobile gaming industry, has
taken over the global market for digital games by
earnings revenue over the last few years.
