THE ROLE OF INSPECTION CONTROL IN ENSURING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REGULATION

Sažetak
In this paper the role of inspection control in ensuring the implementation of regulations is analysed. Inspection control represents a form of control over the legality of actions ow physical and legal persons and has many forms. It is extremely important in order to ensure the legality of work and the adequate delivery of diff erent services on the market. By its implementation two its purposes (components) emerge: preventive and repressive. The emphasis must be on both, in order to ensure the existence of a quality inspection control. Recommendations are given in order to improve current status of regulation of inspection control in the Republic of Croatia.
