Quantitative traits of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) cultivars in comparison to introduced cultivars

Sažetak
Seed production of short grasses is not sufficient for our needs for seeding and reseeding. The highest dement is on Perennial ryegrass seed. There are few cultivars created in Croatia. One of them is Križevački (K-10). Very good average results were obtained whit that cultivar (448 kg/ha) compared tostandard Naki (389 kg/ha), in 3 yares research conducted at Faculty of Agriculture University of Zagreb.
The straw yield after seed harvesting was also higher whit K-10 (84,4 %) compared to Naki (82,0 %).
