Abstract

In the present paper, 23 species of Mutillidae are recorded, collected after the publication of the first contribution to the knowledge of the Mutillidae of Croatia (Nonveiller, 1979a). Three of them are new for the territory of Croatia: Krombeinelia nigriceps (S. Saunders, 1850), Ctenotilla coeca (Radoszkowski, 1879) and Nemka pliginskii Lelej, 1984. Since the publication of the papers of Nonveiller (1979, 1994), Brothers (1983), Lelej (1985), Suarez (1988) and Petersen (1988), the taxonomic status of some species from the list published in 1979 has changed, while some others were synonymized, or had to be eliminated from the list due æ misidentifications, so that in the present paper, all mutillids so far recorded as being from Croatia are listed: 31 species and 4 chromatic forms.
