Entomologia Croatica is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Croatian Entomological Society (CES). The journal has been published since 1995. From its inception until 2020, it appeared in one or two issues annually, whereas since 2021, it has been published exclusively in electronic format as a single annual issue. The journal publishes original scientific papers in the field of entomology, including systematics, molecular biology, faunistics, ecology, and other related areas. Exceptionally, papers concerning other terrestrial invertebrates are also published. In addition to original scientific papers, the journal publishes short scientific communications, review articles (scientific and professional), professional papers, book reviews, preliminary communications, letters to and from the editors, bibliographies, biographies, case reports, and overviews of the Society's activities. The editorial board is international in composition, and the peer-review process involves international reviewers. Articles are published in Croatian with an English abstract or in English with a Croatian abstract. The journal does not charge authors any publication fees. Papers published in *Entomologia Croatica* may be deposited in institutional and thematic repositories, provided that links to the journal's website and the Hrčak portal are included. Papers published in the journal Entomologia Croatica are cited and indexed in international bibliographic and citation databases BIOSIS Previews, Entomological Records, CAB Abstracts (CAB International) and Zoological Record.
