Abstract

The turn from the traditional perspective of teaching to the forthcoming perspective of
learning holds the line of argument in this essay. Scientific outcomes of recent date
indicate that learning is no process of transmission cultural and scientific objects from the
teacher to the learning individuals. We have to aim at rather that, in a strong sense,
learning means to construct cognitive schemes of what is successfully proofed in
experience. Different versions of a constructivist approach to learning, the version of the
Radical constructivism, that of a methodical constructivism, and that of a social
constructivism are, in addition with elements of the theory of social systems (Luhmann),
able to elaborate a concept of creating reliable schemes of reality. The result shows that
professional teaching would probably be much more effective, if it will follow the
pathways of individual learning on the basic line of constructivism and pedagogical
communication.
