Sažetak

The aim of this research was to determine students’ satisfaction at the University of Zagreb with the organization and implementation of online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. On a total sample of 32 faculties (N = 2199 students), the results of the research, tested by three alternative hypotheses, show that students are equally satisfied and dissatisfied with the organization of imperative online classes, examination, and professors’ approach and did not encounter lack of equipment and materials. Students ultimately prefer in-person classes over the online alternative because of the overall college experience and preservation of mental health, which is oftentimes neglected in the current situation. Therefore, we can conclude that although online classes enabled the continuation of learning in the new circumstances, they cannot fully replace the experience of in-person teaching.
