The JAPRK project (Linguistic atlas of the maritime and fishing culture in Dalmatia and Kvarner)

Sažetak

The JAPRK project seeks to document diatopic variation of the maritime lexicon
and the diversity of the maritime culture in Dalmatia and the Kvarner Gulf. This paper discusses the evolution of the methodological framework of the project and its current progress. We consider the network of survey points, the elaboration of the questionnaire, the selection of the informants, the course of the surveys, the treatment and the presentation of the dialectal data. The paper closes with a preliminary version of three maps and a short geolinguistic commentary.
