Sažetak
The influence of the friction forces on the result of length measuring with the tape layed on the ground is analysed in the work. One has come to the conclusion that the elasticity of the tape bas to be calculated by means of the force which is equal to the arithmetic mean of the dynamometer reading at the beginning and at the end of the length to be measured, because of the friction influence occurring between the tape and the ground. It is not compatible with the existing Book of Regulations for State Survey II-A (1956) issued in the farmer Yugoslavia.
