SUMMARY
In compliance with the preset research format, the second essay from the Double Portraits series analyses the work of Erika Nađ Jerković and Maša Bajc, the artists who maintained their literary discourse alongside with the fine arts one. Despite all their differences in both the fine arts and literary expression, they are matched on basis of their tendency towards expression complexity. Literariness is for both their secondary commitment they lived sincerely and profoundly, but not as poetically and probingly as that of the fine arts. Being different thematically, in expression, technique, comprehension of reality, generational (and generating thereof) pre-definitions, as well as in personal ethical, aesthetical, ideological preferences, they are connected by the refined vibration of time and space they belong to.
