Abstract
Vinko Čandrlić finished his doctorate degree in Zagreb at a Faculty of Civil Engineering, where he also worked as an associate and a regular professor. For his prolific creative scientific research, educational and professional work in the development of civil engineering he received numerous awards, memorials from professional establishments, various social decorations, three academic awards and an award for life work.
