Abstract

Based on archival research, this paper examines four artworks donated in 1927 to the Strossmayer Gallery of Old Masters, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, by Gustav Koritić Mrazovečki (1857–1937), a nobleman from Kalnik and a largely forgotten benefactor. The study clarifies and refines data on the donated works, with a particular focus on those still held in the Gallery’s collection, including a detailed analysis of the miniature Girl Resting on a Turtle.
