Sažetak
The requirements of the global market in the field of occupational health and safety are becoming more and more significant and stricter. Therefore, occupational health and safety management is becoming more and more important every day. Occupational health and safety are generally defined as the science of predicting, identifying, assessing, and controlling risks from hazards that occur in the workplace, which can negatively affect the health of workers and other people at work. Accordingly, occupational health and safety risk management is a method used to control, eliminate, or reduce hazards within acceptable parameters. The concept of risk, due to its ambiguity and complexity, has always attracted the attention of scientists from various fields and branches of science. The paper presents the theoretical principles of risk management and the basic concepts of occupational health and safety risk management. The paper also presents an overview of the basic philosophy and philosophical perspective of occupational health and safety risk management. The discussion and conclusion provide recommendations and guidelines for further reflection on the philosophy of occupational health and safety risk management and possible research.
